About Me….

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the San Francisco Bay Area, seeing clients in my office space in Greenbrae (Central Marin), as well as virtually throughout California. I have worked with a very culturally diverse array of people over the years and welcome clients of all backgrounds and identities.

I use an integrative strengths-based approach, drawing from an amalgam of the many trainings and client experiences that I have amassed over my 18+ years of practicing social work and psychotherapy in the Bay Area. I draw strongly from my background in mindfulness meditation/MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) and often integrate these teachings into my therapeutic work. Clients describe me as being authentic, compassionate, and intuitive.

I am a graduate of UC Berkeley’s Masters in Social Welfare Program and have been licensed (as an LCSW) since 2012. I have worked within a variety of social service agencies and school-based settings, most recently in the role of Wellness Coordinator at Archie Williams High School in San Anselmo, where I’ve led the mental health programming for the past 9 years.

I am deeply passionate about my work! I feel grateful and honored each day that I’m in the role of being a witness to and a supporter of my clients. I so enjoy partnering with people (individuals, couples, and families) as they grow, change, and emerge from the patterns and habits that keep them feeling stuck or trapped, and shift mindsets that are no longer serving them.

KInd words

“I had the privilege of working with and being mentored by Katrina early on in my career. She is one of my favorite humans. Katrina approaches every situation with a grounded sense of ease, compassion, and curiosity. Her extensive counseling experience in schools with students, parents, staff, and interns demonstrates her ability to work with and relate to all age groups seamlessly. She is the kind of person who can immediately calm your nervous system just by being around her. It is truly a gift to work with Katrina.”

“Katrina is an exceptional clinician. I have worked with her for 15+ years and have never met a person who doesn't connect with her and grow in her presence. She has a way of supporting all different types of clients with her warmth, calm demeanor, balanced perspective, and deep insights. There is no one I could recommend more highly to support children, teens, adults, couples and families in our community.”

“I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Katrina throughout her career as a therapist and I can say with enthusiasm, she’s one-in-a-million. She’s deeply attuned, insightful, and practical in her approach to treatment. Her experience is vast and her natural healing abilities make her a master of her craft. She has a unique way of guiding her clients to the resources, tools, and perspectives they need most. I wish I could bottle her particular brand of magic!”
